Tip #8 - Threat of Lawsuit To A Credit Bureau

Threat of Lawsuit To A Credit Bureau

Never, I repeat, NEVER send a letter of intent to file a law suit with a credit bureau unless you are going to go through with the process.

Why? Because, you are wasting time. Credit bureaus get thousands of these types of threats and they will not delete an item in fear of a lawsuit.

Sending an intent to file a lawsuit is only useful if you are ready to take action. (Typically through a F.D.C.P.A. Attorney).

If they do not respond to disputes it will justify punitive damages.
